International. This is the Room Comfort Technology Innovation Gold Award, considered the highest award for technology and innovation within the consumer electronics industry and delivered within the framework of the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) 2023.
This recognition has been given to Midea by virtue of the innovative features of its recent invention called PortaSplit, an air conditioning unit in which the portability of a mobile device is combined with the performance and efficiency of a conventional split.
In this way, the Porta Split offers powerful and comfortable cooling, overcoming the limitations of existing solutions.
According to the manufacturer, the solution stands out for its excellent cooling performance and high energy efficiency: "In the tests carried out, it significantly surpassed conventional portable equipment in terms of cooling efficiency and energy consumption," the company said in a statement.
It was also learned that the product has Air Magic + technology, which cools the air by emitting negative ions and limits the spread of bacteria and viruses, giving users an additional layer of protection.
Midea also reported that the global launch of the PortaSplit will take place next year, ensuring that it will be "a more affordable and comfortable alternative for consumers."
