Puerto Rico shone with Refriaméricas 2023

Refriaméricas 2023

Puerto Rico. Refriamericas 2023 exceeded expectations and was a success by hosting 93 exhibitors at the Puerto Rico Convention Center and having an attendance of approximately 2,000 industry professionals.

The event, which took place on July 25 and 26, brought together in a single space the most important brands in the HVAC / R industry both locally and internationally, which showed their satisfaction at the end of the event for the good results it yielded for each of them.

"I want to thank everyone most sincerely for joining us in Puerto Rico last week. We are very pleased by the great local and foreign participation, both in the area of exhibitors and in the participation and visit in the congress and commercial exhibition. It has been a wonderful and unforgettable experience for everyone; We received excellent feedback from everyone. I look forward to seeing you again in 2024 in Miami for our 20th Anniversary. We will surely have pleasant surprises and a very large participation", said Fabio Giraldo, Project Manager of Refriaméricas.

Congress focused on efficiency and decarbonization
Among the outstanding activities of Refriaméricas, the Congress was successfully held, which this year had as its central axis the theme of decarbonization and its impact on the industry. Local and international speakers from countries such as Colombia, United States, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Brazil, among others, actively participated.

"We are convinced that the attendees took important notes from each conference to apply in their projects and in their companies, something that has always been the main objective of the Refriaméricas Congress. We thank all the participants," said Duván Chaverra, Academic Director of Refriaméricas and Editorial Chief of ACR Latinoamérica magazine.

Additionally, all the participants of the event enjoyed the Latin Party held in the Beer Garden, where they enjoyed, danced and spent a fun musical night with the best gastronomic offer on the island.

The CALA AWARDS
Another important activity of Refriaméricas was the delivery of the CALA AWARD for the best HVAC/R installation in Latin America 2023. The winner of this edition was the company Clima Ideal, from Costa Rica, with its project Supply Center Alajuela - Bayer Medical SRL, which surpassed in number of votes the other three finalists: MultiFRIO, from Costa Rica; Flutec, from Mexico, and Dismec, from Colombia.

Refriaméricas is packing its bags for Miami where it will celebrate the 2024 edition on July 24 and 25, a special event for the 20th anniversary of the event. We look forward to seeing you!
