Panama. In the City of Health, a complex of buildings dedicated to health care, 4 chillers were installed to guarantee the air conditioning conditions that the various spaces, such as offices, rooms and operating rooms, must have.
As reported by the news portal Caja Seguro Social, four chillers with a capacity of 900 tons were installed to provide air conditioning to the different buildings that make up Ciudad de la Salud, an important infrastructure of the Social Security Fund.
In a video posted on Youtube, engineer Rogelio Robles, project manager of Ciudad de la Salud, explains this installation, where three of the four devices installed are designed to be in use and the rest has the backup function.
"Each chiller has its pumps, and on the roof of the building are the cooling towers. This air conditioning system is the one that will supply the entire City of Health in the different buildings, hospitals, rooms and operating rooms that are part of this project".
It should be noted that this facility has a computerized monitoring system, to monitor its operation and respond to any unwanted change in the operation. This advantage is intended to respond to any previous incident that may affect the equipment as well as the service they provide in the different hospital areas.
