In a video posted on YouTube, engineer Rogelio Robles, Ciudad de la Salud project manager, explains this installation, where three of the four installed devices are designed to be in use and the rest has a backup function.
“Each chiller has its pumps, and the cooling towers are located on the roof of the building. This air conditioning system is the one that will supply the entire Ciudad de la Salud in the different buildings, hospitals, wards and operating rooms that are part of this project”.
It should be noted that this facility has a computerized monitoring system to monitor its operation and respond to any unwanted change in the operation. The purpose of this advantage is to respond to any incident that may affect the equipment as well as the service they provide in the different hospital areas.
