International. From May 4 to 6, the XVI Ibero-American Congress of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration – CIAR 2022 will be held, which this year will be held in the city of Lisbon, Portugal.
The strong link with environmental sustainability is the objective of this congress, as revealed, for example, by the choice of guest speakers and on the topics to be discussed. Examples are sustainable and high-performance buildings and systems, innovative solutions and technologies, information and communication technologies for smart buildings, etc.

Lisbon reflects the fusion between the past and the future and the commitment to the green economy, as in 2018 it was distinguished with the European Green Capital Award 2020; as well as, there is an evident commitment to renewable energies and the green economy on the part of Portugal.
