Colombia. The Colombian Council for Sustainable Construction has launched the State of Sustainable Construction Study, a report that analyzes in detail the impact of this sector in Colombia.
This study was built with the participation of experts and actors from the value chain in order to analyze the impact that sustainable construction has had on the country, its level of penetration, its main advances and challenges, as well as the expectations of impact in the near future.
The document seeks to serve as a tool in the decision-making processes in sustainability for the different actors of the construction value chain in this country. Throughout the text, the figures, trends, mobilizers and relevant information are presented to have a complete picture of the present behavior and projections of sustainability in Colombia.
It also highlights the trends that in the next 5 years will mark the evolution and growth of the sector: materials, social equity, water resource management, operation of sustainable buildings, health and well-being, energy and cities and urbanism.
