Air purification system received recognition in indoor air quality

International. RGF Environmental Group, a brand represented by Dannenge International, was the winner of the 11th Dealer Design Awards, an annual award organized by The Achr News.

The HALO-LED air purification system received the Gold award in the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) category. The evaluation is carried out by an independent panel of contractors, considering specific elements that contribute to facilitate installation, application, use and maintenance, repair, reliability and competitive difference.

RGF's HALO-LED is an ozone- and mercury-free UV LED air purification system, combining the best indoor air quality technologies into a single device, including LED (UV), PCO, self-cleaning bipolar ionization, cold plasma, hydrossonolysis and photohydronization, RGF's patented technology.

In addition, the company confirms that HALO-LED is certified to meet the performance standards required by the CARB (California Air Resources Board), which proactively treats every cubic centimeter of air-conditioned space, fighting microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, mold, smoke and VOCs in the air and on the surface. Taking advantage of bipolar ionization, the system offers the added benefit of reducing allergens, dust and airborne particles. The new technology uses a washable ceramic catalyst, enhanced with exclusive hybrid hydrophilic zinc and is powered by a set of low-energy LEDs with an ultra-long life.

"Combining REME-LED technology with RGF's proven PHI-CELL technology, this product offers revolutionary indoor air purification," said Walter Ellis, executive vice president of RGF Environmental Group.

NEWS editor Mike Murphy stated, "These awards provide us with a unique opportunity to recognize outstanding research and development efforts on many products in the HVAC-R industry and the award offers readers the opportunity to read about innovative installation solutions and services."

For the end user, HALO-LED has a long-lasting replaceable LED cell module that provides clean, purified and decontaminated air. For installers and technicians, the product is easily integrated into existing HVAC systems and self-cleaning automatic bipolar ionizers with carbon fiber brushes to reduce particulate matter.

"HALO-LED offers the technician the opportunity to increase profits by providing the customer with a solution for indoor air quality without chemicals. The use of UV LED technology, mercury-free and ozone-free, is highly energy efficient, considered as eco-friendly, environmentally friendly technology," adds Ellis.
