Brazil. Empório da Festa, an event equipment rental company with more than eight years in the market, chose to offer its customers the lease of freezers connected to Sitrad, a remote management system of Full Gauge Controls. All this to certify that the temperature of the equipment will not go beyond what was established.
The software facilitates the routine of the company, located in Tanabi, interior of São Paulo, in the organization of events many times in cities at a distance of up to 100 kilometers. "In the past, when serving a more distant customer, it was always necessary to transfer an employee to find out the operation of the instruments during the party, which demanded equipment time and a higher fuel expense," says the owner of Empório da Festa, Rogério Martinez. The process of installing the controllers was done by the company itself, which used a computer technician for the communication part with the system. In addition to this, they maintained constant contact with the technical team of Full Gauge Controls, for the help in the resolution of doubts.
The monitoring of the collected data is done through reports, which Martinez manages daily. "Sitrad makes me feel confident that everything is going to be cold, as I promised the customers, and that, if by chance any alteration occurs, we will receive the warning of the system in time to correct the parameters and make the appropriate substitutions, avoiding losses," he scores. According to the owner, what happens most often is the disconnection of some power circuit breaker, but with the alarms sent the company can make the necessary corrections quickly.
Among the Full Gauge Controls products available, Empório da Festa uses MT-512 E LOG (controller for refrigeration or heating) and TC-900E LOG (for frozen). The two instruments have options such as periodic de-icing, open door sensor, internal memory, among other facilities. The company also uses the TCP 485 converter for device communication with Sitrad. The system can be downloaded for free (in www.sitrad.com/es) and only needs the user to have a device (tablet, cell phone or computer) connected to the Internet to access the data.
