Colombia. The Colombian Council of Sustainable Construction will soon organize a regional discussion on Trends in sustainable construction certification systems, which will be held in the town of Envigado, a few minutes from the city of Medellín, and a LEED Green Associate professional training course.
The discussion will take place on August 31, while the LEED course will be held from September 11 to 21. The objective of the discussion is to publicize the characteristics of the most used sustainable certification systems in Colombia.
The discussion will include topics such as "experience of some certification systems in projects", "sustainable construction certification systems in Colombia – General aspects", among others. While the course will offer topics such as "Integrative design process", "sustainable sites", "water use efficiency", "Indoor environment quality"; it also includes a guided tour of a LEED project.
