Chile. Event organizers Ifema and FISA confirmed that for 2017 they will hold the second edition of Matelec Latin America, an international exhibition of solutions for the electrical and electronics industry, and the third edition of Genera Latinoamérica, an international exhibition of renewable energies and energy efficiency.
The date of both events is agreed from October 4 to 6, 2017. In the contests that will be held at the Espacio Riesco, in Santiago de Chile, you will be able to know all the novelties and trends of the sector for the coming years, as well as the latest solutions and proposals for the electricity sector, energy efficiency and efficient technology for building.
It was also known that FISA and the Chilean Chamber of Construction have reached an agreement, which involves carrying out the next editions of Matelec Latin America and Genera Latinoamérica in coincidence with the Edifica and Expohormigón fairs, linking in the same place and date, to the Energy Industry with the Construction Industry, thus strengthening the commercial opportunities of the more than 500 projected exhibiting companies and expanding the field of supply for the 25,000 professional visitors expected for 2017.
The first edition of Matelec Latin America, and the second of Genera Latin America were held in 2015. More than 4,000 professionals, from America, Europe and Asia – highlighting among the Ibero-Americans the Argentines, Brazilians, Colombians and Peruvians – visited the two contests, at the Riesco Space in Santiago de Chile.
Likewise, 107 companies participated, plus their represented, which in an exhibition area of 5,000 m2, showed the latest technological advances in electricity generation, transmission, automation and energy efficiency, among other sectors. Exhibitors came from 20 countries: Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Peru, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Slovakia, France, Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, Sweden, Turkey, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and India.
