Colombia. The refrigeration and air conditioning sector closed this first semester "at its peak" with job creation, best practices and increased sales.
This was revealed by Gabriel Gómez, president of Acaire, who added that with regard to refrigeration, the National Government recently issued Decree 1500 with which it requires companies to present an improvement plan that includes the modernization of machinery and in turn, an optimal management of the refrigerators.
"If in two years, as of August 8, 2016, when the decree was issued, the companies in the sector have not complied with the improvement and modernization plan, the National Government will close them," Gómez emphasized.
This panorama of regulation, modernization and incorporation of excellent technology has strengthened the industry, which according to the union leader could close this year with double-digit growth, between 15% and 20%.
It should be noted that Acaire remains at the forefront of the sector and constantly trains its human resources. Permanently offers from basic courses to diplomas of 120 to 180 hours with specialized topics in refrigeration and air conditioning.
"The key to success of our sustainability in the market is due to the regulations developed by the guild and of course to their compliance, this in order to boost the quality of companies in the sector and of course the insistence on training and updating," said Gómez.
