Mayekawa Manufacturing Company has announced plans to launch four new models of its highly efficient natural refrigerant-based refrigeration system, the NewTon.
The NewTon R-3000 and R-6000 for cold storage, and the F-300 and F-600 for frozen storage, will feature reductions in refrigerant load, system size and weight, compared to previous models.
The new models offer minimized refrigerant charging and better maintenance in an attempt to alleviate any anxieties potential users may have regarding the day-to-day operation of the system.
They are also smaller in size and weight to help reduce the impact of the facility's renovation, which is expected to increase as the 2020 deadline for Japan to complete the phase-out of ozone-depleting HCFCs under the Montreal Protocol approaches.
