Mexico. Trane introduced its new TVR LX line of variable coolant flow (VRF) solutions, aimed especially at the Hotel, Residential and Office Building industries.
The solution has high standards of energy efficiency, in partial and total capacity. This is possible thanks to the fact that indoor units use DC (direct current) variable speed motors that have a consumption of 30% less energy compared to conventional motors.
"For Trane, the launch of the TVR LX solution represents a breakthrough in efficiency and innovation, as it can be installed as the primary HVAC and temperature control system in a building or as a complementary system to existing HVAC equipment to meet the different application, comfort and temperature needs of the building's occupants." mentions Leandro Tolosa Zenklusen, Trane's unit product leader for Latin America. "TVR LX's innovation is summed up in five benefits for building managers and owners: low sound level, energy savings, large capacity range, extensive pipeline distances and remote online access."
The product offers a total of 41 different combinations of outdoor units that can be combined with 72 different types of indoor units, to meet any requirement. The larger modules of 840 MBH, allow the connection of up to 64 indoor units, delivering comfort up to 175 meters away from outdoor units.
Currently, the TVR LX comes in the heat pump version with voltage 220-60 hz and voltage 380-415 for 50 and 60 hz; its exterior cabinet has a more aesthetic design and gives greater installation flexibility to accommodate cooling lines more easily and reduce implementation time.
