Colombia currently has a total of 55 buildings already decorated with the seal of the US Green Building Council, of which 3 are platinum, 24 have gold and 19 with silver. There are also a total of 127 buildings that have already registered their property to receive the certification process.
Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena and Barranquilla are the cities that contribute the most buildings to the list that in turn total around one million square meters, but when including the square meters of those registered, the area amounts to 3.7 million square meters that are equivalent to 15.5% of the total licensed in 2014.
