United States. LG Electronics USA announced that fourteen of its ductless air conditioning models have received the 2014 "Most Efficient" designation from Energy Star certification.
"LG has made a strong commitment to energy efficiency as a core business principle across the company. The number of Art Cool and Inverter systems designated as Energy Star at highest efficiency has doubled since 2012," said Kevin McNamara, vice president of commercial air conditioning at LG Electronics USA.
The following are the Art Cool models that were recognized: LAU/LAN090HSV2, LAU/LAN120HSV2, LAU/LAN180HSV2, LAU/LAN090HYV, and LAU/LAN120HYV.
The High Efficiency Inverter models: LSU/LSN091HSV2, LSU/LSN091HSV3, LSU/LSN121HSV2, LSU/LSN121HSV3, LSU/LSN181HSV2, LSU/LSN181HSV3, LSU/LSN240HSV3, LSU/LSN090HYV, and LSU/LSN120HYV.
The Energy Star designation was designed to promote high-efficiency products in the market.
