International. In order to promote the right steps in the design, construction and operation of buildings and ensure optimal performance, Ashrae will conduct a new certification program.
Ashrae recognizes professionals in the sector who have mastered the knowledge and skills reflected in best practices in certain aspects of building design and operation. The association has certified more than 1,600 HVAC/R professionals.
The six planned certification exams will be taught as part of the Winter Conference January 18-22, 2014 in New York, as part of the AHR Expo.
