Spain. To have a reference of the movement of our market in other continents, in the Iberian country sales of domestic air conditioning equipment were reduced by 21.8% in 2012.
The information provided by the Association of Manufacturers of Air Conditioning Equipment (Afec) indicates that this sector, which includes window, wall, floor, simple units, multis of up to 6kW, among others, achieved sales of 241,300 million euros.
In the commercial segment, sales also showed a decrease of 21.9% in 2012 to 193 million euros; the same happened with the industrial sector, which represented figures of 109 million euros and a decrease of 18.2%.
