Argentina. The local government presented the new production processes for the manufacture of air conditioning systems that are manufactured on the island of Tierra del Fuego.
As revealed by the Telam news agency, the presentation was led by the Minister of Industry, Débora Giorgi, who highlighted the condition that companies that are based on this island must progressively add more parts and parts of local manufacture to the equipment they manufacture.
This is how air conditioning equipment will incorporate both parts and equipment more broadly of national production. Power cables, plastic electrical boxes and screws will occupy between 50 and 80% of the devices manufactured in that country.
The initiative will be supported by the National Institute of Industrial Technology (Inti).
