United States. The provider of comfort solutions and services, Trane, celebrates in 2013 its 100 years of existence highlighting some of its most characteristic products developed throughout its history.

Ingersoll Rand's brand company was founded as a family business in 1913 by James Trane and his son Reuben. Fundamental inventions included the convector radiator in 1925 and the pioneering Turbovac in 1939.
In 2013, Trane will celebrate anniversaries with the following products:
- 75th anniversary of the Trane Centrifugal Chiller.
- 40th anniversary of the Trace™ energy analysis program that compares the energy and economic impact of various energy conservation measurements.
- 35th anniversary of Trane™ Tracer building controls for a variety of building types and for both single and multi-type building configurations.
