Argentina. According to GfK's market analyst custom and research, one in three households in the country has an air conditioning system.
Of this 33%, the average by number of units at home is 1.5. This according to a survey of 500 homes in the Argentine capital, Greater Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, Mendoza and Tucumán, which highlights that with 16% air conditioning was the most mentioned device when analyzing what users will buy for their home throughout this year.
Hot and cold equipment accounts for 66.8% of overall sales of HVAC systems. Window equipment emerges as the fastest growing in that country that currently has 9.5% of the market, compared to 7.7% registered in 2011.
One of the keys to this increase has to do with the costs of insinlation, GfK revealed. In addition, the requirements of users is that the equipment cools quickly and correctly, consumes little power and is silent.
