Colombia. With the theme "Creation and implementation of a sustainable operation strategy", and the presence of more than 100 people, the Association of Modern Building Managers – AGEM – began its training stage for professionals related to the management, operation and maintenance of buildings in the region.
Last Thursday, February 14, professionals Michael Roy and Maia Leclerc, senior vice president and project coordinator, respectively, of Milepost Consulting, focused the talk on illustrating the real meaning in practice of having a sustainability strategy in a building. The speakers also offered guidelines on the process of creating and implementing such a strategy in addition to sharing best practice examples and reviewing real cases.
The speakers were joined by the presence and intervention of Felipe Bernal Henao, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Pontifical Bolivarian University, and Max Jaramillo Fertig, president of AGEM, who highlighted the importance of this type of training spaces that are committed to the professionalization of building managers.
