Brazil. According to the Southern Brazilian Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation (Asbrav), 70% of consumers chose last December to acquire an air conditioning model for their residences.
Asbrav stressed that the last summer of the South American country allowed a notable increase in the sale of splits compared to the same period of 2011. The index indicates a growth in the purchase of this model of 32%.
Also, according to the study carried out with the collaboration of members of the organization, among the most popular devices are those with capacities of 7,000btu/h to 18,000btu/h.
