Germany. With a total of 29,000 visitors and a record 915 exhibitors, the 2012 version of the Chillventa fair ended, which also had more than 200 participants in the congress held in the city of Nuremberg.
According to closing reports, the event on air conditioning and refrigeration systems grew this year in number of visitors by around 55%. Richard Krowoza, one of the organizers of Chillventa, commented that "the atmosphere of the visitors was ideal, likewise, there was a very good acceptance in that the fair was held for three days (9, 10 and 11 October)".
Thomas E. Watson, President of Ashrae commented: "The positive energy was felt in the showrooms. This was not only reflected in the corridors and in the stands, it was also noticed in the main figures of the exhibition."
Chillventa confirmed that the 2014 edition will be held from 14 to 16 October in Nuremberg.
