Chile. Due to the high temperatures of the summer and the competition of brands, around 50% has increased in the last five years the expenditure of Chileans in products for air conditioning, which includes air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
Data provided by the consultancy Euromonitor International and published by the local newspaper Estrategia, indicate that the industry continues to show a growth rate, after high consumption in 2010 and a stable movement in 2011. Price stability has also been a key factor.
