The Caribbean. Trane, specialized in the creation and maintenance of safety, comfort and energy efficiency in environments, presented the Energy Efficiency Leadership Award to the Palace Resorts Group to celebrate the completion of a restructuring to which 11 of its luxury resorts in Mexico and the Dominican Republic were subjected.
Improvements in the establishments helped to increase energy efficiency by 10% and optimize the indoor environment with the aim of improving customer satisfaction and employee comfort. Likewise, energy conservation measures were applied that include high efficiency ice water systems, thus seeking to centralize the control of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to optimize indoor environments and automation equipment. Not only was the efficiency in the operation of the resorts sought, but also the practicality of control by the remote management and supervision personnel , in charge of adjusting the HVACR systems. This award is given to companies that demonstrate significant achievements in improving the energy and operational efficiency of their properties. Therefore, Palace Resorts becomes worthy of this title, as it has evidenced this purpose internationally; not surprisingly , it enjoys an international reputation for the numerous awards it has acquired thanks to its commitment to energy efficiency.
