International. The ISO 50001 standard, launched on June 15, was the seal obtained by Le Hive, the headquarters of the multinational Schneider Electric located in Paris, becoming the first building in the world to obtain it.
ISO 50001 certification establishes the necessary criteria for the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of energy management systems in industrial plants and commercial facilities.

Le Hive, hall de l'innovation et vitrina de l'energie (innovation hall and energy laboratory), was inaugurated in November 2008. Designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, it is located in Rueil-Malmaison, in La Défense, the financial and industrial district of Paris.
