Puerto Rico. The air filter manufacturer, Camfil Farr, recently opened its new operations plant in the city of Gurabo, Puerto Rico, from where it will meet the demand of the Caribbean region for the health care, medical devices, biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.According to newly appointed area manager Milton Robles, "we will now have greater capacity for both sales and storage, so the busiest filters in this region will be able to be shipped immediately, giving end users a significant advantage in availability and increased lifecycle length," he explained.
Puerto Rico then becomes one of the largest manufacturing centers in the world with these new facilities, in conjunction with the Air Pollution Control division, led by Victor Rodríguez, who stated that "we can now combine our Hemipleat cartridge technology with Camfil Farr's HVAC filtration products and offer a complete package to our customers."
