Johnson Controls was chosen by U.S. telecommunications company Verizon Communications Inc. as its real estate service provider for its more than 7,000 properties in the U.S.Johnson Controls Global WorkPlace Solutions will provide facilities and project management, energy implementation and transaction management services as a first step in Verizon's strategy to create a more agile, efficient and flexible business model, maintaining a high-quality work environment and increasing the company's overall productivity.
Deborah Roberts, vice president and general manager of Communications for Latin America at Global WorkPlace Solutions, expressed her satisfaction with this new partnership, adding that "we will offer Verizon a portfolio of intelligent management solutions integrating our best people, processes and technologies."
