Mipal evaporators and air forcers were placed in the first CO2 installation in Verde Mar supermarkets in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, a state in southeastern Brazil.The Jardim Canada store of the Verde Mar supermarket network entered the history of refrigeration in the region by implementing a sustainable solution that minimizes the impact on the environment.
This project was developed and implemented by Racks Refrigeração and was supported by Danfoss, Arneg, Bitzer, EBM and Mipal.
The organization also required a solution that would make the premises an energy-efficient place, so frequency inverters were used in the compressors and pumps, EC electronic motors in the Mipal air condensers and ESM electronic motors in the MI and BV models air forcers, also from Mipal.
The camera forcers were designed by Mipal, applying esM electronic fans of high efficiency, direct current and double speed.
Mipal also developed the evaporators of the refrigerated frozen displays that use CO2 as a refrigerant gas, produced by Arneg do Brasil.
