. Data Systems Corporation, a subsidiary of electronics company Hitachi, Ltd, opened the third green data center in Yokohama, Japan.The Yokohama Third Center, which occupies 10,000 square meters, has technology that uses energy efficiently to reach a level of 1.6 PUE (Energy Use Effectiveness).
It also has an integrated control center that monitors the operational status of IT equipment, the environment of the server room and the building facilities all hours of the day, throughout the year, allowing to visualize the systems and respond to problems quickly. It also uses a natural cooling system that reduces the environmental load of the location and nitrogen fire extinguishers, as well as cooling systems that use outside air.
