Today's entrepreneurs continue to play an important role in the success of the Canadian economy, Ernst & Young said as he released this year's finalists. "Entrepreneurs recognize opportunities that others don't, and are passionate about business," said François Dufresne, director of the Entrepreneur of the Year awards program for the Canadian province of Quebec and one of the partners in Montreal by Ernst & Young. "We truly admire his inspiring ambition and conventional vision. Their fervent desire for success leads to business growth in Quebec and across Canada."
Quebec's winners will be announced at a banquet on October 23, 2008; the winner will represent the region at a national banquet in November and the overall winner will continue on their way to achieving the international award.
