International. Recently, entrepreneur John Nicholls was promoted to president of Delta Controls. This was confirmed by the company. This change of leadership comes after Delta Controls announced that Delta Controls Inc., headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, has been acquired by Delta Electronics (Netherlands) BV (DEN), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Electronics.
John, a graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nottingham in the UK, has led throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia before settling in France for 3 years as CEO of a Paris-based control company. Back in the UK in 1991, he became Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Andover Controls, and then Managing Director of Andover Controls for Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Prior to becoming Executive Vice President, and now President, John was part of the Delta family for many years and was instrumental in creating Delta Controls' operations in Europe.
