United States. Frost & Sullivan presented Trane, an Ingersoll Rand brand, with the prestigious Manufacturing Leadership Award in recognition of its work with Seattle-based ResolutionTube.
Trane and ResolutionTube collaborated to develop a mobile cloud-based application that enables two avenues of video collaboration between technical support agents and field technicians.
The project has shown great potential in reducing service visits, increasing corrections for the first time, reducing calls to support centers and increasing the efficiency of technicians and support staff. The award ceremony was held during the Manufacturing Leadership Summit in Palm Beach, Florida.
