International. Nidec Global Appliance celebrated on March 10 the anniversary of one of its brands: Embraco, specialist in refrigeration technology for household appliances and commercial cold chain since 1971.
After being acquired by Nidec Corporation in July 2019, Embraco was integrated into the Nidec Global Appliance division, acquiring a structure to accelerate growth. Nidec Global Appliance is organized into three business units (BU): Appliances, Commercial Appliances and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning). This segmentation gives Embraco the opportunity to operate with a more dedicated focus on specific market segments, strengthening its customer-centric approach and enhancing its portfolio of compressors and condensing units.
Embraco is a brand present in more than 80 countries, stamped on 1 in 5 hermetic compressors used in the world. It reaches its 50th anniversary being known worldwide for the innovation, quality and reliability of its products. This reputation was built by being a pioneer: either by launching the first reciprocating compressor that runs on natural refrigerants such as the R600a, in 1994, or the first compressor to use variable speed technology, in 1998.
Now, Embraco celebrates its anniversary by launching the "Refresh the Future" campaign, with a video that reinforces the positioning of the brand while underlining the main attributes of the brand: pioneer, innovation, great experience and cutting-edge technology.
Based on the concept that "updating" means "renewing" and bringing new ideas to life, the campaign highlights Embraco's attitude of anticipating trends and delivering the kind of innovation that drives the refrigeration market worldwide. The video also reinforces the fact that Embraco offers high-performance, energy-efficient solutions in cooling and, more importantly, solutions that help customers improve their own products and businesses.
