Colombia. In this third version of the congress for the operation of modern buildings and facilities, TecnoEdificios, the academic program will be complemented again by guided tours of some of the most important buildings in the host city of the event, Medellín.
On November 7, the day before the start of the congress, 15 of the attendees at TecnoEdificios will know first-hand the automation system and the characteristics that will allow the LEED certification of the innovation and business center of the Mayor's Office of Medellín, the Ruta N Complex.
For example, Ruta N has strict lighting control; It also incorporates high specification glass that allows controlling the entry of infrared radiation into the building to reduce the need for air conditioning, while maintaining the passage of natural light.
Regarding the issue of air conditioning, Ruta N explains that "the design of the air conditioning has taken into account international regulations that are not even required by our local environment, to provide a better indoor air quality than what is normally breathed in buildings".
These and other systems will be known in detail by the attendees of TecnoEdificios, in a tour that will be directed by Route N officials who will explain in detail the measures they implement to have a highly efficient building.
