Colombia. With an optimistic atmosphere in the specialization and a large influx of public, the ninth version of RefriAméricas, the international congress of commercial and industrial refrigeration, began in the city of Medellín.
The 2012 edition of the event began with the talk on the elimination of HCFCs in Colombia, dictated by Xiomara Stavro, from the Ministry of Environment of this country, "through these scenarios a very good dissemination of environmental problems is made, in addition, it is about raising the green awareness of cold users," said engineer Stavro.
At the same time, the trade show also opened its doors giving exhibiting companies the opportunity to show their main novelties. "The fundamental objective is to show the technology in refrigeration through energy saving equipment," said Luis Fernando Saldarriaga, agro-industrial advisor of TMV Ingeniería and exhibitor of the event.
Likewise, the attendees of RefriAméricas 2012 also showed a lot of interest in the themes of the meeting, for example, Luder Villegas of the Universidad del Valle, indicated that "the event is important because one catches up in terms of laws and labor standards for the industry."
Both the academic day and the commercial exhibition will continue until the afternoon hours of Friday, June 22.
