A select group of outstanding Colombian speakers will be the perfect complement to the development of the academic program of RefriAméricas 2011, which will take place at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center in Medellín, Colombia, on June 16 and 17.
César Isaza, member of the ENERGY and Thermodynamics Research Group UPB, will be in charge of the conference called "Solar HVAC/R: An alternative for Latin America?"; Giovanni Barletta, representative of Emerson, will do the same with the talks "State-of-the-art technological developments in capacity control systems in commercial refrigeration" and "Improvements in the diagnosis of compressor failures: stop them faster than usual".
Similarly, Mauricio Baena, from the company Thermal Engineering S.A.S., will be in charge of the talk: "Selected capacity Vs. Real capacity required: Avoid over/underuse in your production plants".
Florentino Torres, representative of the company TM Consultants, for his part, will be in charge of two talks: "Refrigeration and freezing processes of chicken - Truths and lies" and "Refrigeration for microbial control in slaughter plants".
Juan Carlos Hoyos R., representing Bavaria / SABMiller, will have the task of developing the conference called "Sustainable beverage plants: Technologies and facilities to achieve sustainable projects".
In turn, Fernando Becerra, representing Danfoss, will be in charge of the talk "Applications of electronic expansion valves and advantages".
Everything then is ready for the eighth version of this event that is increasingly positioned as the number one in terms of commercial and industrial refrigeration in the Andean region and the Caribbean.
