About 20 people attended this Wednesday, June 15, the guided technical tour of the Sayonara Flower Crop, located east of the city of Medellín.
During the tour, which was guided by William Mejía, head of maintenance of the Crop, and which lasted for more than two hours, attendees could appreciate the entire process that is carried out prior to the export of the flowers.
The visit included an extensive tour of the almost three hectares that have been planted, in which the whole process was known first-hand, and the visit to the cold rooms where the refrigeration processes that Flores Sayonara carries out were explained in detail.
The visit to the Sayonara Flower Crop, as well as to the Mimo's Livestock and Ice Cream Plant, served as a preamble to what will be the opening this Thursday, June 16, of the RefriAméricas 2011 Congress and Commercial Exhibition.
