Bitzer's new Octagon compressors come with mouffle on the heads, which reduces vibration and noise, this translates into less chance of leakage and the opportunity to use it in residential areas. Its compact design results in lower installation cost and its high reliability and efficiency makes it a low operating cost asset. Octagon compressors are optimized and modified for several refrigerants, including natural refrigerants such as R744 (CO2), R290 (propane) and R1290 (propylene); and for low GWP synthetic eco-friendly refrigerants such as R410A, R134a, R404A and other traditional refrigerants such as R22. This equipment covers applications for both low, medium and high temperature, whether in supermarkets, convenience stores, large warehouses, AC units or heat pumps. They can also be used with an external frequency inverter or with an integrated frequency inverter that can vary its speed between 25hz and 87hz.
