Belimo
The Belimo ePIV is a two-way valve that keeps the flow rate constant, regardless of pressure variations in the system, performing a continuous balancing function to maintain system performance under varying loads. The ePIV directly measures and controls the flow rate by combining an electromagnetic flowmeter and a 2-way control valve.
The actuator has a powerful algorithm that modulates the control valve to maintain a flow setpoint set by a controller. The flow reading is reported back to the controller by a standard signal, and this value can be used by the Building Automation System to perform advanced control and energy consumption strategies. Measurement ranges from 2 1/2" to 6".
The ePIV complements the existing line of independent pressure characterized control valves (PICCV) to offer a complete range of independent pressure valves.
