The CDU1200 is the new 1,200 kW refrigerant distribution unit (CDU), one of the most powerful and compact on the market, and the latest addition to its ServerCool line of liquid cooling for high-performance data centers (HPC).
The CDU1200's compatibility with existing ServerCool CDUs, such as the 300 kW CD6 floor mount and 50 kW CD5 rackmount, enables modular growth of existing systems. The high pumping power also allows it to be placed outside the blank.
Highly efficient heat exchange technology thermally transfers cooling from the primary circuit to the liquid cooling circuit of the secondary circuit for distribution to it rack cold boards. It features two redundant 15 hp stainless steel pumps with energy-efficient features including electronic switching (EC) motors and variable frequency inverters.
In addition, it has a microprocessor based on an integrated programmable logic controller (PLC) that uses proprietary software. The complete system instrumentation of redundant triple pressure transducers and temperature sensors offers precise control and monitoring of vital statistics, such as primary and secondary loop discharge/return temperatures, data room temperature and humidity, pump PSI, and many other critical parameters.
