The AstroCel I AAF HEPA filter distributed by Filtertech has been seismically and environmentally qualified to meet the strictest specifications in the nuclear sector. Unlike other filter manufacturers that rely exclusively on their filter media ratings, AAF has carried out environmental and seismic ratings of the complete HEPA filter assemblies. These ratings ensure that the filter will maintain its functions during accidents.

All Astrocel I AAF nuclear HEPA filters are designed, manufactured and tested according to the NQA-1 quality assurance program and meet all the requirements of 10CFR50B and 10CFR21.

Among its main characteristics are the removal of ultrafine particles, the minimum resistance to air flow and the qualification of conformity with the UL 586 standard.
