What is Earth Hour?
Earth Hour 2011 is the largest symbolic mobilization campaign to fight climate change, calling on individuals, businesses, governments and entire communities to take responsibility for ensuring a sustainable future for all.
This year the slogan of the campaign is "Go beyond Earth Hour", with this it is intended to generate awareness and demand a commitment based on joint actions for the rest of the year, achieving the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Taking the first step is as simple as turning off a light: join Earth Hour. March 26 at 8:30 pm (local time)
