The solar energy group Isofoton and Indra have signed a strategic collaboration alliance to develop a high concentration tracker (HCPV) and monitoring and control systems for this type of device, the former announced in a statement.
Isofoton qualifies Indra as a strategic partner and assures that, thanks to the alliance, the group will be able to develop the technology demanded by its Italian and other customers, and thus guarantee the quality of its products.
The company says it is firmly committed to high-concentration technology, considered strategic in some surrounding countries such as Italy, where there is high support for renewable energies and in particular photovoltaics.
The new high concentration module of Isofoton, known as GEN2, will be launched on the market in 2011 and presents, in areas of high temperature and high irradiance, performance conditions superior to those of other photovoltaic technologies already consolidated, says the company. (EUROPA PRESS)
