Germany. A new development will be observed at the Berlin Aeronautca Hall (from 11 to 16 September), where the project of seats with personalized air conditioning will be presented.
Researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Construction Physics are developing new types of seats that will allow their temperature and humidity to be adjusted individually without affecting the travel companion.
The professionals explained that the unification units have the technology to purify the air by filtering unwanted substances. Optimized ducts allow fresh air to circulate and so passengers can set the temperature of their own seats, similar to how it happens in certain high-end vehicles. This will regulate the ventilation of the seat in terms of heat and humidity with the body, keeping it cool.
The project is currently under development.
