Germany. With the aim of improving energy efficiency, the provider of technologies for the tourism industry, Amadeus, announced that it has invested more than US$10 million in its new facilities attached to the data processing center that are located in a town called Erdin, near Munich, Germany.
The company now has two new cooling machines and three new UPS diesel generators with which they hope to double the total power and cooling capacity.
The new design, which is expected to have a lifespan of around ten years, will offer a more outstanding cooling process across its facilities. This data center had already received in 2010 the Energy-efficient Enterprise certification delivered by TÜV Süd.
