Argentina / Venezuela. The first export from Argentina to Venezuela of the wind equipment for the construction of a renewable energy park in the town of La Guajira has already been carried out.
The gaucho company Metalúrgicas Pescarmona (Impsa) and the Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) of Venezuela signed an agreement for the work that has a budget of US $ 200 million, which will be executed in two stages and would generate a total power of 75.6 megawatts (MW).
The first stage is already under development, in which they will install 12 wind turbines, each of 2.1 MW, for a total of 25.2 that will be distributed among 34,700 families.
The wind equipment is expected to arrive at the Venezuelan port of Maracaibo by the end of July.
