Rockwell Automation today announced its participation in IFAT Entsorga 2010, the fair of environmental technologies (Munich, from 13 to 17 September), together with its partners Endress+Hauser (E+H), Cisco and ProSoft.
In recent years, the
Visitors visiting rockwell's booth at IFAT will be able to appreciate the fundamental parts of the Live Integrated Architecture, including the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix programmable automation controllers and the RSLogix 5000 software used to program them. These tools offer a common programming environment, a common control machine, and common networks to simplify deployment and maintenance and reduce total cost of ownership.
Along with Integrated Architecture, Rockwell Automation's solutions for the water distribution and treatment industry can be extended to include compatible solutions from the company's partners. A long-standing and numerous advantages for water utilities is rockwell's partnership with instrumentation control process supplier Endress+Hauser (E+H). At rockwell's booth at IFAT, visitors can see a telemetry application for a water treatment plant that demonstrates the seamless integration between Integrated Architecture and E&H measuring instruments.
The other partners represented at Rockwell's booth at IFAT include Cisco and ProSoft. Cisco offers scalable integrated network architectures using open technologies including Ethernet while ProSoft offers modules for supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
