Chile. Bluetek Global, a Chilean company specialized in technologies for air quality, was selected simultaneously in 3 different opportunities for startups: two correspond to recognized contests, while the rest is a relevant instance of networking with a view to the United States.
First, the national startup was selected among 200 companies to participate in the 7th National Contest "Entrepreneurial Challenge", organized by Banco de Chile and Levantemos Chile. Bluetek Global, along with the rest of the 200 selected, will be part of an acceleration program under which the bank will support startups with high growth potential.
After the initial selection, the process continues with the search for the best 100 applications for the Microenterprise category and 100 for the SME category, which will move on to the next stage: an autopitch that will be evaluated by a jury of experts to decide the 32 finalists.
These finalists will be accompanied by mentors, who will support them to build and present their final pitch to a jury of experts. Should it win, this platform will give Bluetek powerful nationwide visibility.
On the other hand, Bluetek was also chosen by the Chile-California Council, a binational non-profit organization based in San Francisco, to be part of its Booster Innovation Center (BIC), an innovation and softlanding center that connects, makes visible and enhances startups, projects and initiatives that seek to generate impact on nature and people's well-being.
This will allow the national startup to have access to a public-private ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in California and Chile, through its digital platform and its physical center located in the San Francisco Bay, California.
Finally, Bluetek Global was selected by Daikin, and INCmty, a startup community, for its Disruptair Challenge 2022 contest, along with 36 other applicant startups that solve problems related to the HVAC industry, and its supply chain through high-impact initiatives.
"The mere recognition of having been chosen to participate in these instances fills us with enthusiasm, and shows us that the intense work is paying off," said Patricio Abusleme, co-founder and CCO of Bluetek Global.
In September, Bluetek Global had also been selected by the Alchemist Accelerator to be one of the 15 startups globally that will participate in its acceleration program. It is the third Latin American company to be part of the program, and has already received a valuation of $ 20 million dollars from the accelerator.
