Brazil. Full Gauge Controls recently announced that it is preparing to build a new manufacturing facility, which will be located in the Canoas de Innovación Park (PCI).
The company revealed that it has already acquired new land for the construction of this new manufacturing unit, which will have an estimated investment of R$ 27 million (about US$5 million).
The new factory will have an area of more than 30 thousand square meters, which will be added to the other three operations located in this city, which already have 7,350 m², in addition to the unit in the United States.
"The expectation we have is to quadruple our production in this new space and hire more than 200 people. It is a work that is still in the project phase and its start is scheduled for the second half of this year, "said Valeria Sales, Marketing Manager of Full Gauge.
In addition to this, the company is finalizing another space of 2,100m² in an area close to the current Full Gauge Controls plant, located in Canoas, in southern Brazil, which represents a growth of its physical structure by more than 20%.
"Our injection factory will move there, gaining another line and doubly increasing the production of plastic parts for our products. All this to accompany the growth of the electronic production area, which last year tripled with the arrival of a new assembly line directly from Japan," explained Valeria.
"In addition, a part of our warehouse will also be moved there. All this with the aim of accompanying the growing market demand and our availability of products for immediate delivery. Last year we had record 44% growth in export revenue. So we need more space for all this growth. As a consequence, the expedition department will also be relocated within the current structure," Valeria concluded.
Full Gauge Controls highlighted excellent results during 2020 and 2021, due to increased productivity, the launch of increasingly innovative products and the generation of new business in the Full Gauge Controls unit in the United States. The brand generated increasing revenue month by month compared to 2020, which had already been fully successful, with 14%. higher than in 2019. For 2021, they estimate a 26% increase in revenue compared to 2020.
